2. Services Provided

Blackwood Carpentry provides home renovations, commercial fitouts, custom joinery, and outdoor living solutions. All services are subject to availability, site inspections, and approval.

3. Quotes & Payments

• All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date issued. 
• A deposit is required before commencing any work. 
• Full payment is due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed. 
• Additional work not included in the original quote will incur extra charges. 
• Payments must be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods. 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled project start date. 
• Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. 
• If a cancellation is made after materials have been ordered, the client is responsible for covering material costs. 

5. Project Timelines

• Estimated project timelines will be provided but are subject to change due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen delays. 
• Clients will be informed of any significant timeline changes. 

6. Warranty & Liability

• We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty on all completed projects. 
• Manufacturer warranties apply to materials where applicable. 
• Blackwood Carpentry is not liable for damages caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications after project completion. 
• Clients must notify us of any defects within 7 days of noticing an issue. 

7. Site Access & Safety

• Clients must provide clear site access for our team to complete the work. 
• Blackwood Carpentry is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access. 
• Safety hazards must be reported before work commences. 

8. Intellectual Property

• All designs, drawings, and concepts created by Blackwood Carpentry remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. 
• Clients may not use, reproduce, or distribute our designs without permission. 

9. Privacy & Confidentiality

• Client information will be handled with strict confidentiality. 
• Personal details collected are used solely for project communication and service delivery. 
• We do not sell or share client information with third parties. 

10. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes should be addressed in writing to info@blackwoodcarpentry.com.au. 
• We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably and professionally. 
• If an agreement cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated to a legal mediator or tribunal. 

11. Amendments to Terms

Blackwood Carpentry reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
